From "Aha!" to OfficeWyse: 20 Years of helping people pay less for printer cartridges

Once upon a time, over 20 years ago, buying a printer cartridge nearly gave us a heart attack. Okay, maybe that’s a bit dramatic, but seriously—how could something so small cost so much? That shocking realization sparked a simple thought: There has to be a better way.

That tiny spark of an idea turned into a full-blown mission. In 2004, fuelled by equal parts determination and printer ink frustration, we opened a small shop in Yeovil. Back then, we were CartridgeWyse—a scrappy little business on a mission to help people save on printer cartridges without compromising on quality.

But we didn’t stop there. As we got to know our customers better, we realized they needed more than ink and toner. They needed office supplies that didn’t break the bank, stationery that inspired creativity, and computer accessories that actually worked. So, we listened, adapted, and grew. Before long, we added stationery and started working with local businesses to save them money on their office essentials.

The Rise of OfficeWyse

Fast forward to today, and wow—what a journey it’s been! We’re no longer just about cartridges (though we’re still pretty proud of that part). We’ve expanded into stationery, computer accessories, and everything an office needs to function smoothly. To reflect our growth, we rebranded as OfficeWyse—a name that captures everything we stand for: being the wise choice for office solutions.

We’ve outgrown our old digs and moved into larger premises to keep up with demand. While other businesses have come and gone, we’ve stayed the course, thanks to one thing: you, our amazing customers.
